Bricks are up to apex at cable and trimmed to same profile as trusses.

Just need to trim to a triangle them bring the blockwork up to same
 height.......then ROOF!!!!!!!

The gable apex is creeping up, decision is to build outer brick full height and trim to correct profile then do same again with block work.

The kids have been away most of the summer so have been little help, though Rona did help with the roof trussses and they both unloaded trailer of 400 extra bricks!!

a visitor from next door came to check on progress and ensure all was being done to correct standards!

Wall plate and roof trusses are up! End truss still to be fixed in place once gable is bricked..... then roof!!!!!

Despite the Hollwood rain, both ends are, apart from a couple of blocks, up to wall plare height.

Back up and running with new phone so can now take pics again!!!!
Since last post walls have risen, the front one now has an aperture closely resembling a window! That means the lintle is in place at the front, the back is not far behind, 1 course of block and 3 of brick then lintle. The roof trusses are provisionaly booked for wednesday and hope to have all 3 walls at suitable height to get them up pretty soon.

The 3 way cavity tray is as good as expected, in fact it us very good! It is now installed along with three others along the back wall of the side extension.  The bricls arerogressonghere also.  Soon be time to order roof trusses. Will probably order sun tunnels from Velux at same time.
No photos, slight mishap befell mobile phone,  a scaffolding board fell on it, well really only half a scaffolding board, but the effect was the same! Going to call ee tomorrow and negociate a new one!
