Well, the man from building control didn't like my dtainage arrangement!
The problem is the down portion goes into tbe old drain with a 90 degree T.
He is worried about solids going the wrong way in the pipe so need to replace the 90 t with a 45, so big hole is now dug!

Insulation to inside complete

Drains for utility room and shower room installed.

Slightly unorthodox testing, couldnt seal both ends as no easy access to existing vent stack , so stopped up in manhole before  the road and filled system with water. After 1 hour the water had not dropped even a millimetre so recon all seals are water tight!

A spot of gardening to make access for roof glazing.

Saturday 27 January 2018

Adjustment to roof upstand to accomodate odd leg tripple glazing units. Sarnsfill guys got it wrong so they are coming  back to extend the membrane further over the upstand. The odd leg of the glass will sit on top of the membrane, the other two should take it down and under thus providing a good seal
